No matter how you like to eat your seafood, you’ll find a dish to match. Here is sneak peek at the seafood sensations on offer, all of which are sure to get your tastebuds tingling.

As it comes

If you like your seafood as it comes, you’ll love the V Wall’s Oyster Bar. It serves up fresh oysters four different ways: Natural (with lemon), Mignonette (with house vinaigrette, Japanese (with ginger, soy, sesame and chilli dipping sauce) and Kilpatrick (with bacon, spiced plum and BBQ sauce). Choose your favourite or treat yourself to one of each.

In a salad

Looking for a light meal? We recommend the King Prawn and Scallop Salad. Enjoy a generous serving of seafood served on a bed of mixed leaves and micro herbs sourced from Nambucca Valley Aquaponics, a local family-run farm on the banks of the Nambucca River. Less than an hour from farm to plate, produce doesn’t get much fresher than that. The dish is finished off with avocado and a lemon and herb dressing—delicious!

In a pasta

Prefer something a little more filling? You can’t go wrong with the Seared Scallop and King Prawn Fettuccine. Served in a mouth-watering blue cheese, white wine and garlic cream sauce, it is every bit as rich and tasty as it sounds. There won’t be much table chatter once this plate arrives, you’ll be far too busy eating.

A little bit of everything

Great food is meant to be shared, and seafood feasts don’t get much better than the Pavilion ‘Fruits De Mer’ Seafood Tower for Two. Tuck into a selection of fresh seasonal seafood including rock oysters, bugs, mussels, eastern king prawns, grilled and battered fish, calamari, scallops, smoked salmon and crumbed prawns accompanied with house condiments. If this sounds like your idea of heaven but your partner doesn’t like seafood, don’t worry, you can still enjoy a selection of fresh local hot and cold seafood with our Pavilion Ocean Plate which comes with fries and salad.

Just the fish thanks

The V Wall Pavilion’s fish dishes are a step up from simple fish and chips. Don’t get us wrong, you can have that, with a choice of Citrus Battered Flathead, Coopers Pale Ale Battered Barramundi and Bucket Brewery Battered Dory. But you can also take it up a notch with Pan fried Atlantic Salmon served on broccolini and buttered chats with roasted capsicum and cashew romesco or Seared Humpty Doo Barramundi served with roasted capsicum, chickpeas, cashews and rocket salad topped with pineapple, coconut and mint salsa. Now if that doesn’t get your tastebuds tingling, we’re not sure what will.
