How big is the park?

How close is the caravan park to the town centre?

We are a quick 10 minute drive from Bermagui, hosting a variety of restauraunts, cafes and stores where you can pick up all your supplies, and a 20 minute drive to Narooma.

What facilities does the town offer?

Bermagui is a short 10 minute drive from Ocean Lake. It is a peaceful town famous for its big game fishing. Wander the boutiques and shops in Bermagui including a supermarket, open 7 days a week as well as great restaurants and cafes. At Fisherman’s Wharf, you will find fresh and cooked seafood, a wine bar, cafes and restaurants as well as specialty shops and art gallery. Watch the day’s catch unloaded from the fishing boats in the Marina. Bermagui Country Club has a championship golf course, lawn bowls, indoor bowls, tennis, croquet, darts, bingo, trivia and raffle nights as well as a restaurant and live entertainment. A courtesy bus will pick you up from Ingenia Holidays Ocean Lake and take you to the Club for dinner and bring you back again.

What is access like to the property?

We are easy to find on Regatta Point Road just off Wallaga Lake Road. There is direct street access with entry via the boom gates.  If you have GPS put in the intersection of these two roads and it will bring you right to the top of our park.

What type of cabins do you have?

We have a wide variety of cabin accommodation to suit all needs and budgets.

If staying in a cabin do we need to bring our own linen?

No, we provide all linen for all beds, including towels!

Do you have caravan sites as well as cabins?

We have a variety of powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites to suit a wide range of caravans and tents.

What size caravans and motorhomes can you accommodate?

We have limited sites available depending on weather conditions. It is best to phone ahead to check availability and make your booking.

Do you have room for big rigs and motorhomes?

What size sites do you have?

We have a variety of caravan and camping sites, always call the property check your rigs suitability.

Do you have sites that fit camper trailers?

We sure do but make sure you book in advance to secure the perfect spot!

Are dump points provided at your park?

We provide a dump point for the use of in house guests.

What type of amenities do you offer?

We have 2 amenities blocks with male and female toilet and shower facilities.

Do you have washing machines and dryers for guest use?

Yes, we have a guest laundry.

How much is it to use your washing machine/dryer?

$4 for washers and $3 for dryers. Machines use either $1 or $2 coins.

Do you have ensuite facilities for caravan and camping?

Unfortunately we do not offer ensuite sites.

Do you have BBQ facilities?

We sure do! We have a BBQ located within our Camp Kitchen area; it would be un-Australian not too!  There is also another BBQ area on the foreshore near the playground.

Is there a charge to use your BBQ facilities?

We do not charge for the use of BBQs.

Do you have a camp kitchen?

We sure do! We have a modest facility perfect for the caravan and camping lifestyle. The kitchen provides and electric BBQ, microwave, kettle, toaster and sink. Guests should bring along their own cooking gear and utensils.

Do you allow fires?

Braziers are available to hire from reception at $15 per day and subject to availability. Brazier use is at the discretion of the Park Manager and subject to completion of a Brazier Hire and Safe Use Acknowledgement form available at reception. Guests choosing to use their own personal Brazier will need to ensure it meets minimum safety requirements and complete a Brazier Hire and Safe Use Acknowledgement form.

Do you have a shop onsite?

Yes, we have a small shop onsite offering a limited amount snacks and supplies.

Do you have a restaurant onsite?

No.

Do you have a kiosk onsite?

We do not have a kiosk on site but we do have a shop selling a small selection of snacks and supplies.

Do you have internet access?

We do not have Wi-Fi available right now but we’re working on it!

What facilities do you have for children?

We have a children’s playground, jumping cushion and tennis court. We are situated on the banks of Wallaga Lake where you can enjoy a variety of water sports and activities on your doorstep.

Do you have a pool?

We don’t have pool onsite, why would we when we’re right on the banks of the stunning Wallaga Lake where you can enjoy an amazing variety of water sports and activities from swimming to boating and everything in between!

Do you have a Jumping Cushion?

Of course we do! There’s no better way to play than bouncing!

Do you allow children to ride bikes, scooter, rip sticks and roller blades?

Of course we do! They will need to complete a Bike License and have a Rider’s Wristband on at all times.

How far are you from the beach?

We are positioned a few just a few minutes’ drive or a leisurely walk to the beautiful beaches surrounding Camel Rock and Horse Head Rock and a variety of secluded surf beaches in the area.

How far are you from the river?

We are located right on the banks of Wallaga Lake, you couldn’t get any closer without getting your feet wet!

What is there to do in the surrounding areas?

There are so many things to do within the park and the local area. There is fishing, boating, kayaking and water skiing on the lake from within the park itself. Water activities in the area include swimming in Blue Pool or Horseshoe Bay, surfing the many beaches including Camel Rock beach or try fishing in the river, off the beach or charter a boat to go deep sea and game fishing. You can kayak, canoe, stand up paddle board or sail on Bermagui River or water ski on Wallaga Lake. Walk the Bermagui to Wallaga Lake 7.5 km coastal walk or any of the many walks in the area. There are a variety of walking trails available from the park and swimming and surfing beaches within 5 minute drive or 10 mins walk from the Park. From mid-September through to mid-November Humpback whales can be sighted within a 10 minute walk from the Park. Cycle the bike path along Bermagui River Reserve or Ride the Bermagui Mountain Bike Park through magnificent spotted gum forest and take a break at one of the many picnic spots.  Take a short 10 minute drive to the town of Bermagui where you’ll find a variety of cafes and boutiques, playgrounds and a skate park. Indulge yourself with a manicure, massage or beauty treatment. Visit the cellar doors and taste the produce of the local wineries in the area. Explore the Bermagui Heritage Trail or visit the museum. Make sure you check out the local fresh produce at the Bermagui Fisherman’s Wharf Growers Market every Thursday afternoon. Bermagui Markets are held the last Sunday of the month at Dickinson Park. Why not take a guided tour of Montreal Goldfields, just up the road from the Park, or visit the historic National Trust listed village of Tilba and taste the locally made cheeses and fudge.

Do I need to book before I arrive?

You should always book in advance to avoid disappointment and it’s the best way to snag yourself some great deals on accommodation!

What are your tariffs?

Our tariffs vary throughout the year, you can get some great deals on breaks away during the quieter months, whilst during the peak summer months you are looking at higher rates.

What is the minimum reservation period?

This depends on the time of year you are looking to stay. It’s best to check your exact dates online or with the park to ensure you are provided with accurate information.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy can vary depending upon the time of year you book and rate you book. It is best to confirm this at the time of your reservation or check on the terms and conditions page for a general policy.

What time is check-in?

You can check in any time from 2pm through to 5pm.  If you are going to be later than 5pm just call our frendly team and we will work out a late arrival plan with you.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is 10am unless prior arrangement.

What if I need assistance out of hours?

Our afterhours assistance number is displayed on the reception door. If there is an emergency please call 000 first and then let after hours know you have an emergency.

Is there onsite management or caretaker?

We have a either a manager or caretaker on site at all times who are happy to help should you require emergency assistance after hours.

What credit cards do you accept?

Visa and MasterCard.

Do you have a loyalty program?

Watch this space, we are working on it!  Until then, keep your receipt from us and present it at any of our other parks.  The teams there will make sure you are looked after.

Are you a member of one of the park chains?

No.

What if I have a complaint?

Do you have annual vans?

We have annual vans on site, from time to time these become available for sale, send us an email if you’re looking and we can tell you if any are available!

We do offer permanent lifestyle accommodation options, it is best to contact us directly to discuss availability.
