Is your park pet friendly?

We do not allow pets, but there are dog-friendly beaches along our beach front.

Where are you located?

We are located at 105 Truro St in Torquay, QLD.

What are your park opening hours?

Our reception hours are from 9:00am – 6:00pm Monday – Saturday and 9:00am – 5:00pm on Sunday.

What time is check-in?

You can check-in for sites from 11:00am. Check-in for cabins is from 2:00pm.

What time is check-out?

Check-out time is 10:00am.

Do you allow late arrivals?

Yes, we do! But you will need to let us know in advance so we can arrange your access.

What is your late check-in procedure?

Please contact us during office hours to arrange an after-hours check-in.

How big is the park?

Our park is spread across 8 acres.

How close is the park to the town centre?

We are only a short 5 minute drive to Urangan shopping centre.

What facilities does the town offer?

Hervey Bay’s beachfront is 16 kilometres long! There are a variety of shops, dining and entertainment options in Hervey Bay. There are plenty of cruises and tours throughout the region. You can also access the heritage listed Fraser Island from Hervey Bay, as well as other local attractions.

What is access to the property like?

We are easy to find on Truro St, there is direct street access with entry via the boom gates.

What type of cabins do you have?

We have a wide variety of cabin accommodation to suit all needs and budgets.

Do we need to bring our own linen if staying in a cabin?

You won’t need to bring your own linen. It is all provided (including towels) when staying in our cabin accommodation.

Do you have caravan sites as well as cabins?

We have a variety of powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites to suit a wide range of caravans and tents. We also have ensuite and super ensuite caravan sites for those looking for a little bit of luxury.

What size caravans and motorhomes can you accommodate?

We have sites large enough to comfortably fit 5th wheelers as well as camper trailers. Please call the park to check your rig’s suitability.

Do you have room for big rigs and motorhomes?

We sure do! We cater for most motorhomes, with limited space for 5th wheelers. Generally, we are unable to accept big rigs during peak season. Due to limited spots, always call ahead to make your booking!

What size sites do you have?

We have a variety of caravan and camping sites, always call the property check your rigs suitability.

Do you have sites to fit camper trailers?

We sure do, but be sure to book in advance!

What type of amenities do you offer?

We have one large amenities block, family bathroom with babies bath, accessible facilities are available. We also have two laundries.

Do you have washing machines and dryers for guest use?

Yes, we have two guest laundries.

How much is it to use your washing machine/dryer?

$4 (4 x $1 coins) for washers and $4 for dryers.

Do you have BBQ facilities?

We sure do! We have three separate BBQ areas; it would be un-Australian not too! We also have a large Alfresco Dining area for the use of our guests.

Is there a charge to use your BBQ facilities?

Do you have a camp kitchen?

We sure do! We have a two modest facilities perfect for the caravan and camping lifestyle. Guests should bring along their own cooking gear and utensils.

Do you allow fires?

Braziers are available to hire from reception at $15 per day and subject to availability. Brazier use is at the discretion of the Park Manager and subject to completion of a Brazier Hire and Safe Use Acknowledgement form available at reception. Guests choosing to use their own personal Brazier will need to ensure it meets minimum safety requirements and complete a Brazier Hire and Safe Use Acknowledgement form.

Do you have a shop onsite?

Yes, we have a small shop onsite offering a limited amount snacks and supplies, ice and Swap N Go LPG.

Do you have a restaurant onsite?

No.

Do you have a kiosk onsite?

We do not have a kiosk on site but we do sell snacks including drinks and ice-creams etc.

Do you have internet access?

We offer Wi-Fi throughout the park! There may be a cost associated with this, please contact us for details.

What facilities do you have for children?

We have a large swimming pool area featuring four pools with a wading area, bubble mushroom, waterfall feature, raised plunge pool, beach entry and swim spa. We also have two children’s playgrounds with an interactive spider featuring nine games to choose from. There is also giant chess and checkers board.

Do you have a pool?

We sure do! We have a large pool area featuring four pools. It wouldn’t be a holiday park without a pool.

Do you have a Jumping Cushion?

We do not have a Jumping Cushion but we have some other great facilities.

Do you allow children to ride bikes, scooter, rip sticks and roller blades?

Of course we do! They will need to complete a Bike License and have a Rider’s Wristband on at all times.

How far are you from the beach?

We are positioned a short 400m walk to Shelly Beach.

How far are you from the river?

We are located right on the canals of Torquay, but we are all about the beach which is just 400m away!

What is there to do in the surrounding areas?

There’s so much to see and do in Hervey Bay! There’s Shopping, great restaurants and cafes, walk or ride the Esplanade, a wide range of water activities, Whale and Dolphin watching cruises, Fishing charters and tours, day trips to heritage listed Fraser Island, water and jet skiing, local markets and so much more. With so many great attractions including the WetSide Water Park, the Fraser Coast Discovery Sphere, the Hervey Bay Go Kart Track and many more there is no time to be bored on your holidays in Hervey Bay.

Do I need to book before I arrive?

You should always book in advance to avoid disappointment and it’s the best way to snag yourself some great deals on accommodation!

What are your tariffs?

Our tariffs vary throughout the year, you can get some great deals on breaks away during the quieter months, whilst during the peak summer months you are looking at higher rates. Ingenia Holidays Hervey Bay has a fully equipped Tour Desk to help you find the perfect holiday activity for you and your family while staying at our park.

What is the minimum reservation period?

This depends on the time of year you are looking to stay. It’s best to check your exact dates online or with the park to ensure you are provided with accurate information.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy can vary depending upon the time of year you book and rate you book. It is best to confirm this at the time of your reservation or check on the terms and conditions page for a general policy.

What if I need assistance out of hours?

Our afterhours phone is located on at the corner of the reception building. If there is an emergency please call 000.

Is there onsite management or caretaker?

We have a caretaker onsite who is happy to help should you require emergency assistance after hours. Pick up the white phone located at the office to contact them.

What credit cards do you accept?

Visa and MasterCard.

Do you have a loyalty program?

Are you a member of one of the park chains?

Yes, we are a Top Tourist Park.

What if I have a complaint?

Do you have annual vans?

No.

Yes, we have a variety of ensuite sites available. We have super ensuite sites for those seeking a little more luxury and several accessible ensuites. Please phone our friendly team at the park and request an accessible ensuite when booking.

Are dump points provided at your caravan park?

We provide two dump points near the main amenities block for use by in-house guests.
